FlightCheck 5.5 Settings For OS X Panther & PDF-X-Robot.
Anytime you re-load your system, install, or re-install PDF-X-Robot, you will need to set your FlightCheck ground control settings appropriately. Also, if you upgrade your FlightCheck, you may need to check and set your ground controls by this example for things to work correctly. |

 |
This tutorial is based upon FlightCheck Professional. FlightCheck Professional has far more controls to mess with than FlightCheck Designer. If you are running FlightCheck Designer, the light version of FlightCheck, your dialog boxes will be different and somewhat more brief or limited than what is shown here. In that case, just find the dialog boxes in common and set the settings as close as you can to what is here.
As you can see, we turn most of the stuff OFF anyway, just leaving the real important stuff turned on that is a definite quality problem. FlightCheck Designer will be fine to use with PDF-X-Robot if that is all you have.
To start, launch your FlightCheck application. Then, go to the "Preflight" menu and select "Ground Controls" as shown below.
Now, see the lock at the upper left corner of the dialog box. It should be locked, if so, click on the lock to open it. It must be unlocked as shown here for you to edit the settings. Leave the pop-up menu set to "Default" and begin stepping through these dialog boxes and setting them all as shown in the following screen shots.
Remember, if you have FlightCheck Designer, you will only have about three dialog boxes to set up, that's OK, just stay as close to these similar boxes and their settings as best you can.
