Hello, I saw a post on the PageBot forum about whether any publishers were using variable data and one to one marketing. Since you would have a subscriber database with information about your customers, a personalized piece could target your subscribers or advertisers to increase response or repeat from existing and new customers. I am talking about 4 color variable data printing with many points of personalization. I have yet to see any magazine publishers using VDP (variable data printing) and POD (print on demand) like we are doing here with PageBot every day.

My company is very interested in doing a project like this as a test. We can provide the ideas, direction, layouts and help with copy. We will be glad to do the variable data work and stuff for free. We can print the direct mail pieces on our indigo press at a reasonable reduced price. We have done direct mail programs with up to 12% response in our 1 to 1 marketing with PageBot and are interested to see if we can have similar success for magazine publishers and their marketing needs.
